Privacy Policy

• Health & wellness metrics — the metrics you log manually and, if you connect Apple Health, the HealthKit data types you authorize (e.g. steps, heart rate, sleep, weight, mindfulness).
• Account information — your email address, display name, and optional profile photo.
• Usage data — anonymized, app-level analytics about how features are used (collected via PostHog), and basic operational logs needed to diagnose errors. Health data is never included in analytics.

• To provide and maintain the core tracking service.
• To generate AI-assisted analysis, insights, and chat responses about your own data when you use those features.
• To manage your account and subscription.
• To diagnose problems and improve reliability.

We share data only with the service providers required to run Quantum, and only to the extent needed to deliver the feature you're using:

• Supabase — stores your account, metrics, and logs in our database.
• Anthropic — when you use Q chat or AI analysis features, your metric names, recent log values, and your message are sent to Anthropic's API to generate a response. Anthropic's API data handling policy applies. We send only what is necessary to generate your response — we do not send your full health history on every request.
• PostHog — collects anonymized product usage analytics (such as which features are used and app navigation patterns) to help us improve the product. PostHog does not receive your health data or personally identifiable information beyond a randomized user identifier.
• RevenueCat — manages subscription purchases and entitlement status.
• Apple HealthKit — the source of any Apple Health data you choose to sync. HealthKit data is read with your explicit permission and is never used for advertising.

Quantum uses Anthropic's Claude AI to power correlations, experiment analysis, weekly summaries, CSV import assistance, and Q — your personal data coach. When you use any of these features, your metric names, recent log values, and any messages you send are transmitted to Anthropic's API to generate your response or analysis. Anthropic processes this data solely to deliver the feature — they do not use it to train AI models and do not sell it. You must provide explicit consent before any data is sent to Anthropic, and you can revoke this consent at any time in Profile → Privacy Settings. For more information see anthropic.com/privacy.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to third parties for their own marketing. Health data synced from Apple Health is used solely to provide the app's features to you.

• Export your data — you can export all of your metrics and logs as a CSV file from Profile → Export data.
• Delete your account — you can permanently delete your account and associated data from Profile → Delete account.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you have rights under the GDPR to access, correct, export, restrict, or erase your personal data, and to object to certain processing. If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion, and to not be discriminated against for exercising those rights. We do not sell personal information as defined by the CCPA. To exercise any of these rights, use the in-app export and deletion tools above or contact us.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your personal data is removed from our database.
